Weekly Crypto Report — Mar 20, 2026
Here's this week's crypto recap — and it's the strongest outcome week since we started tracking. The screener produced a 66% end-of-day win rate across 490 entries, with positive average gains at every single time interval. We're also introducing BTC and Total Crypto context at entry, plus peak-after-15-minute tracking. All data from StockJelli's screener logs.
Week Overview
490 entries this week — up 64% from last week's 299 and the highest count since W09. All 490 were qualified entries (no near-misses this week). Activity peaked early: Sunday (127) and Monday (153) accounted for 57% of entries, with Tuesday (97) still strong before declining through Friday (39). SJ Scores ranged from 27 to 81 with an average of 54.
The critical context: BTC was up an average of +1.58% at the time entries were flagged, and Total Crypto Market was up +1.62%. This is the first week with index context data for crypto, and it immediately explains a lot — entries happening during a BTC tailwind tend to perform better. This correlation will be one of the most important variables in formula refinement.
Top 3 Screener Entries This Week
1. CFG (Centrifuge) — peaked at +106.9%. SJ: 63
Entered Monday at 2:28 AM ET. Price at entry: $0.164. Entry gain: +35.8%. Peak gain: +106.9%. CFG is now a two-week repeat — it topped the W09 crypto report at +205.4% and came back this week to double again. SJ Score of 63 is moderate, but the persistent multi-week momentum on this token is exactly the kind of signal the re-entry feature is designed to catch. CFG also appeared a second time this week (Monday 8 PM, +61.5% peak), confirming multi-day strength.
2. UP — peaked at +78.9%. SJ: 81
Entered Sunday at 9:48 PM ET. Price at entry: $0.0799. Entry gain: +14.1%. Peak gain: +78.9%. SJ Score: 81 — the highest score of the week. UP entered with a modest +14% gain and then ran nearly 5x that. The SJ 81 is notable because it suggests the scoring system gave this entry high conviction — and the +78.9% peak validated that conviction. UP also re-entered Monday at +56.5%, confirming the move.
3. ENJ (Enjin Coin) — peaked at +59.7%. SJ: 73
Entered Tuesday at 11:25 PM ET. Price at entry: $0.0262. Entry gain: +37.1%. Peak gain: +59.7%. Peak after 15 min: +59.7%. SJ Score: 73. The peak-after-15m matching the overall peak means all of ENJ's upside was still available after the first 15 minutes — the move was sustained, not a spike-and-fade.
Outcome Tracking: Best Week Yet

The headline: 66% EOD win rate. Two-thirds of all crypto screener entries this week were profitable by end of day. Average EOD gain was +1.50% — the strongest we've recorded. For comparison: W09 was +0.38% EOD, W10 was -0.45%, W11 was +0.68%. This week blew past all of them.
The shape of the curve is also interesting. There was a slight dip at 30 minutes (-0.06%, 45% win rate) — an initial retracement after entry — followed by steady improvement through end of day. This is the opposite of the stock pattern this week, where the early minutes were the best and performance decayed. Crypto rewarded patience this week while stocks rewarded speed.
The BTC connection: With BTC averaging +1.58% at entry time, this week's crypto entries were happening during a rising-tide environment. This is the first week we have this data, but the correlation between positive BTC context and strong outcome performance is exactly what we'd expect — and it's the first concrete evidence that BTC state should be a factor in the crypto alert formula.
🆕 BTC & Total Crypto Context
Every crypto entry now logs where BTC and the Total Crypto Market were at the moment of entry:
- BTC at entry: avg +1.58%
- Total Crypto at entry: avg +1.62%
Both positive — meaning the average screener entry this week happened while both BTC and the broader market were trending up. As we accumulate more weeks, we'll compare outcome data from BTC-positive weeks vs BTC-negative weeks. The hypothesis: entries during BTC uptrends will show significantly better outcomes than entries during BTC downtrends. If validated, BTC state becomes a filter in the alert formula.
🆕 Peak After 15 Minutes
For the 108 entries with this data: average peak after 15 min was +11.8%, with an average time to peak of 339 minutes (~5.6 hours). This means the typical crypto entry still had +11.8% of upside remaining after a 15-minute delay, and it took about 5.5 hours to reach peak. The "you don't need to react instantly" takeaway from the stocks data applies here too — but the upside window is shorter (5.5 hours vs 10 hours for stocks).
SJ Score Highlights
- UP: SJ 81 — peaked at +78.9%. Highest score, second-highest peak. Strong validation.
- ANKR: SJ 75 — peaked at +43.0%.
- ENJ: SJ 73 — peaked at +59.7%.
- SN3: SJ 68 — peaked at +44.3%.
The pattern from last week continues: higher SJ Scores are correlating with positive outcomes. The top-SJ entry (UP at 81) also had one of the best peak gains. We're now accumulating enough weeks of paired SJ + outcome data to start running the first formal correlation analysis.
Market Cap Breakdown
- Large cap ($1B+): 64 entries (13%)
- Mid cap ($100M–$1B): 201 entries (41%)
- Small cap (under $100M): 225 entries (46%)
Nearly identical distribution to the past several weeks. Small caps continue to dominate at 46%. Vol/mcap ratio averaged 0.19 with 31 entries above 0.5 — stable across weeks.
