What Is StockJelli? Our Mission

StockJelli is a momentum intelligence platform for stocks and cryptocurrency. Think of it as a weather app for retail traders: instead of staring at a wall of charts trying to figure out what's worth your time, you open StockJelli and immediately see what's moving, why it's moving, and whether the conditions are right to act. We cut the noise, collapse hours of research into seconds, and narrow the entire market down to a handful of plays that actually matter.

Why We Built It

Most screeners are either too complicated or too cluttered. They're designed for power users who want 47 filters and a dozen chart overlays. That's great for some people, but for anyone who just wants to know "what's moving right now, and is it worth a closer look?" — it's overkill.

The honest truth is that finding a good setup is mostly a filtering problem. Thousands of tickers, endless headlines, and most of it is noise. A trader's real job is to throw away almost everything and focus on the few names that have a genuine edge. StockJelli was built to do that filtering for you — the same way a weather app turns a chaotic atmosphere into a simple "bring an umbrella."

What Makes StockJelli Different

It's intelligent, not just a filter. StockJelli doesn't only show you what crossed a percent-change threshold. It tracks how each move behaves — relative volume, acceleration, where price sits in its range, how it confirms over time — and uses that history to surface setups with a real edge rather than names that are already fading.

How It Works

Under the hood, StockJelli pulls data from Financial Modeling Prep and Tiingo (stocks) and CoinGecko (crypto). Every minute, it filters the market for assets meeting strict criteria, then layers on momentum context — relative volume, range position, confirmation strength, and broader market regime — to separate clean breakouts from noise.

• Stocks: meaningful daily gain on elevated volume, in a sensible market-cap range, with momentum confirming rather than fading.
• Crypto: sustained 24-hour momentum with sufficient market cap and volume.

Assets that meet the criteria appear on the screener with price, percent change, volume, range position (where price sits between the day's high and low), and related news when available. The screener is free and always will be.

The Alerts

For traders who want momentum delivered to them instead of watching the screen, StockJelli offers optional push and email alerts. Alerts fire during key momentum windows and include only stocks and crypto that clear our strictest criteria — including range position near the day's high, which filters out names that are already rolling over. Alerts are a paid feature; the screener itself stays free.

What's Coming Next

StockJelli started as a same-day momentum screener. It's becoming a full picture of market conditions across every timeframe a retail trader cares about. Here's what's on the roadmap:

Swing trading signals (paid). Same-day momentum is only part of the story. We're building a swing layer that identifies multi-day continuation setups — names that broke out and have the structure to keep running over days, not minutes. It will eventually be a paid subscription, but the first three weeks will be free for everyone — so the track record can build in real time and you can see the history and decide for yourself before paying a cent.

TQQQ / SQQQ regime (free). A simple, always-on read on whether the broad market environment favors going long (TQQQ) or defensive (SQQQ). This is the "barometer" — a quick glance to tell you which way the wind is blowing before you take any trade. Free for everyone.

Bitcoin regime (free). The same idea applied to crypto: a clear, continuously updated read on whether Bitcoin is in a constructive regime or a risk-off one, so you can size and time crypto plays with the bigger picture in mind. Also free.
